Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum and Teaching Development

  • Develop, enhance, and review academic curricula and instructional strategies to ensure they are rigorous, relevant, and aligned with school standards.
  • Provide oversight on lesson planning, syllabus design, and instructional materials for various subject areas.
  • Coordinate instructional supervision and mentorship for teachers to promote best teaching practices.
  • Design and implement programs to enhance student competencies and support student participation in academic competitions.

2. Student Development Activities

  • Oversee the planning and execution of co-curricular and extracurricular activities that support student growth and skill development.
  • Create opportunities for students to enhance their skills and academic knowledge through hands-on experiences and enrichment programs.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of student development initiatives to align with the institution’s academic goals.

3. Academic Quality Assurance

  • Develop and maintain systems for academic quality assurance and evaluation to ensure continuous improvement in educational outcomes.
  • Implement and oversee processes for academic audits, accreditation requirements, and compliance with national and international standards.

4. Student Records and Evaluation

  • Supervise student records, including enrollment, credit transfers, and maintenance of academic records.
  • Oversee the evaluation and assessment processes, ensuring accurate grading, GPA calculation, and performance tracking.

6. Parent and Student Engagement

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for parents and students, providing updates and guidance regarding student academic progress and well-being.
  • Engage with parents regularly to address academic, personal, or social concerns affecting students, fostering a collaborative approach to support.

7. Project Development for Education Consulting

  • Develop a specialized Education Consultant program for the Class Master role, empowering academic mentors to provide guidance on academic and career counseling to students to help them understand their interests, set goals, and plan educational pathways.
  • Train and supervise Class Masters in student advisory skills, guiding them to work as personalized education consultants for student success.

8. Collaboration and Reporting

  • Collaborate with school leadership, academic staff, and external stakeholders to support the institution’s educational mission and goals.
  • Prepare reports on academic performance, program efficacy, and student outcomes for internal and external review.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in academic leadership, curriculum design, student counseling, or educational administration.
  • Strong understanding of educational quality standards, accreditation processes, and curriculum design.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and parents.
  • Ability to foster a positive, supportive, and inspiring academic environment that encourages student success.
